Shake Shack, the New York-based burger brand, will open its first Indianapolis store on Thursday at The Fashion Mall at Keystone.
Service begins at 11 a.m. at the food court area.
The restaurant will have its own dining room seating and feature its classic burgers, chicken sandwiches and hand-spun shakes, along with limited-time offerings of a new Black Truffle Burger, a Gruyere cheeseburger topped with black truffle sauce and crispy shallots on a toasted potato bun; and Parmesan Garlic Fries with Black Truffle Sauce.
The local Shake Shack will also sell seasonal lemonades, Shack wine and Shackmeister Ale and have local Sun King Brewing on tap.

The shopping center at 8702 Keystone Crossing earlier this year posted to social media that the chain was projected to open a location there in late summer. But, a Shake Shack spokeswoman said the mall store is more likely to open in the fall.
The Keystone location is the second local store for Shake Shack. The brand entered the local market with the April opening of a restaurant in Fishers that garnered long lines of eager customers.

A downtown location, 231 N. Pennsylvania St. near the entrance to the Mass Ave restaurant and entertainment district, has had signage up and from the exterior has looked close to opening for a while; but the company has only said it projects a fall 2021 opening.
A licensed store at the Indianapolis International Airport along Concourse B and accessible only to passengers was to open in summer 2020. Airport officials this summer said they were continuing conversations to understand when construction would begin.

Shake Shack at the mall will operate 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 6 pm. on Sunday at The Fashion Mall at Keystone, 8702 Keystone Crossing, Suite 111B, Indianapolis.
Guests also can use the Shake Shack app to order and grab their order from an exterior pick up/delivery-only area, but starting Nov. 4, that access will be available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
